According to local CBS station KHOU-TV, students who do **t follow classroom rules or even break a mi**r rule will be subject to one paddling. That being said, parents will need to approve this as a form of Punishment for their children first.
In an interview with CBS News, Superintendent Sheryl Moore said, "We think that Corporal Punishment should be a family decision, **t a School decision," adding, "We will provide the parent with all the information necessary regarding the situation so they can decide whether they think that's appropriate. But that's **t something the School District wants to be involved in."
Though the decision is surprising for many, there are reportedly 26 other School districts that allow similar methods.
