Eight killed as van falls into Neelum River MIRPUR: Eight persons were killed and 10 others injured when a passenger van skidded off the road and fell into the Neelum River near Devlian village in Muzaffarabad district on Friday after**on, police said. The wagon (MD 195) was on way from the Panjkot village to Muzaffarabad when it met the accident while negotiating a sharp turn. Seven passengers were found dead in the wagon after the tragic mishap and 11 of the injured passengers were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Muzaffarabad of whom one seriously injured reportedly succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital. The number of casualties might increase because of the serious condition of five of the injured passengers while more details are awaited. Bilawal forms oversight body on Kashmir polls ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has constituted a oversight committee to get good results of the forthcoming elections of Members Legislative Assembly in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Incharge Political Affairs of PPP MNA Faryal Talpur will head the oversight committee, which is constituted to help resolve issues of the contesting candidates party, sources told APP on Friday. They said that the committee will also look after the ongoing election campaigns of the party candidates and monitor the polling process. Reports said that Allah Di** Khaskheli, along with his friends, was on his way home when his car was hit by an oil tanker. Allah Di** Khaskheli and his friends sustained serious injuries, and they were taken to a hospital where Allah Di** Khaskheli died.
