Army distributes cheques among landowners of Swat cantt
The cheque distribution ceremony was held in Kanju town. A large number of locals and **tables of the area attended the ceremony. Speaking to journalists at the Kanju Fort, General ******r Commanding Major General Asif Ghafoor ack**wledged the public support that enabled the Pakistan Army to defeat terrorists and **rmalize the situation in Swat that was once a stronghold of the militants. He highlighted the sacrifices rendered by the army, other law-enforcement agencies and the Pakistani nation in the war against terrorism and militancy. He also highlighted the impact made by the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb military operation in **rth Waziristan. He said the Army and the nation would never allow resurgence of terrorism at any cost.
