Security is being tightened in Jerusalem after three attacks in which vehicles have been used to slam into pedestrians. Barriers have been erected at bus and tram stations after a member of Hamas drove a minivan into a crowd. One policeman died and a dozen people were hurt. The driver was shot dead. Just hours after the minivan attack in Jerusalem, the Israeli military says a Palestinian motorist drove into a group of soldiers in the West Bank, injuring three. And in a previous car attack a woman and a baby were killed. The atmosphere in Jerusalem is tense with clashes also breaking out at the Al Aqsa mosque compound.
