Iraqi Kurdish forces have positioned themselves in the west of Syrian border town of Kobani. They have just arrived through Turkey to help Syrian Kurds already battling ISIL militants. The president of Iraq?s Kurdish region said he is ready to send more Peshmerga troops to Kobani if more help is needed. In the Kurdish capital Irbil, many men are ready to go to Kobani to help their brethren fight ISIL. Kurd Ibrahim Aziz told Euronews: ?Finally we received some good news from our government, we are happy with this decision of sending Peshmerga to Kobani, this step is very good, and we are ready to go there, even me personally I am ready to go even to fight there for the whole year.? Najat Hassan, told Euronews: ?I am proud of this decision, the Kurds **w are fighting for the sake of the whole world, ISIL is a terrorist international group that fights and threatens all the world **t only the Kurds.? Mohammed Shaikhibrahim, euronews correspondent, reported: ?The ISIL attacks against Kobani have helped unify Kurds, as people here in Irbil say they belong to the same nation even though they live in different places.?
