Activists March in Solidarity With Kobane in Istanbul
 Kurdish Activists and supporters gathered in central Istanbul, Turkey, on **vember 1 to March in Solidarity With the town of Kobane in Syria. Activists called for support for town where Kurdish fighters have been warding off Islamic State militants for over a month. Protesters were met With a heavy police presence on the streets, according to local reports .
