French Air Force Flies Surveillance Missions Over Iraq
 French military aircraft flew a number of Surveillance Missions Over Iraq on September 16 and September 17 . The Missions are seen as a step towards joining the US in undertaking air strikes against Islamic State (formerly ISIS/ISIL) militants. According to Reuters , France had said it supports military action in Iraq and was ready to take part in bombing strikes.
