In January, Latifah joined Macklemore and Ryan Lewis onstage at the 2014 Grammys to perform the pro-gay rights anthem, "Same Love," which many fans took as a hint that she was opening up about her personal life. However, Latifah has maintained that she doesn't feel the need to talk about her romantic relationships, saying in 2008, "I don't have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life."
