With regard to the article "** minimum pay for Indian house helps" (July 17), the Indian government made a blunder by lifting the ban on recruiting Indian housemaids for any country. Pranab Mukherjee said in the Indian Embassy auditorium about five years ago that he was proud that India had banned Indians from going to any country as housemaids. **w he is the president of the world's largest democracy, and he can order the cancellation of the agreement between Saudi Arabia and India. I hope he will do so.
