On arrival at the Hope Street Hotel they declined the offer of extra security and flashy motors to take then to the Royal Court, where the gig was taking place, so any savings could be passed onto Crisis.
The support act for their gig was made up of homeless people and Chris Martin spent the day with them backstage chatting away and giving out autographs. He also ordered 12 giant pizzas, 20 bags of chips and plenty of drinks to go round for everyone.
