No Time to Die looks set to be the longest James Bond film

James Bond fans will probably want a comfortable seat when they watch No Time to Die.

Daniel Craig’s final adventure as 007 looks set to be the longest Bond movie, at least according to one of the biggest US cinema chains.

Regal Cinemas has put up a general information page about the movie, and included on it is a running Time of 163 minutes (or 2 hours and 43 minutes).

If accurate, No Time to Die‘s runtime dwarfs the runtime for the last Bond film Spectre â?? which clocked in at 2 hours and 28 minutes.

The Cary Joji Fukunaga directed film will see Bond returning to MI5 to reunite with his CIA contact Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) in tracking down a missing scientist.

Fukunaga revealed earlier this week that Bond was actually off the job for five long years in the Time between Spectre and No Time to Die.

“The people close to Bond â?? those who he considers to be family â?? are at great risk,” Fukunaga continued.

“And now there’s someone new out there… More dangerous than anyone he’s ever encountered. Whoever they are, they’re smarter and stronger than Spectre.”

The man standing behind Bond and the missing scientist is the terrorist Safin (Academy Award winner Rami Malek) â?? who might be hiding a dangerous secret.

007 will also come face-to-face with his arch-nemesis and Spectre leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz) once more. Will Blofeld hold the key to taking down Safin?

No Time to Die, the 25th James Bond movie, has a UK release date of April 2, 2020, and opens in the US on April 10, 2020. All the previous Bond movies are available on DVD or Blu-ray.
