Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s Battle Royale mode, Warzone, still hasn’t been officially confirmed. But it’s seeming more and more likely that previous leaks and Hints are true, especially now that some clues have started Showing up in-game.
It appears that a ‘Hazardous Bundle’ is now available for 1500 COD Points on the In-Game store (thanks VG247) which offers a couple of weapon blueprints, a charm, and a ‘Toxic Event’ emblem. The emblem shows what looks like a giant gas cloud floating above a city, complete with a menacing skull.

One of the bigger Hints was found within the Season 2 teaser trailer which included a segment Showing a number of soldiers jumping from an aeroplane onto a map that appears to be much larger than any maps we’ve seen so far.

Black Ops 4 saw huge success with its Blackout mode, so it would seem likely that Activision would want to continue that popularity by bringing something similar to Modern Warfare. And if it really is offered as a free, standalone game, the publisher is no doubt counting on players getting bitten by the Modern Warfare bug and upgrading to the full game.
Still, none of this has been officially confirmed. But it looks like it’s only a matter of time before you’ll be leaping out of aircraft and (sky)diving your way into the action. Or, more precisely, in March, if the various leaks are true.
