Insider: Kim Cattrall is not that Sensitive when it comes to fashion

</p> when she became the stuff of TV cougar legend as Sex And The Cityâ??s insatiable PR boss Samantha, Kim Cattrall had the run of a notoriously fabulous highly-styled wardrobe department.

But Insider hears the Liverpool-born actress has taken a very different fashion route for her latest TV project.

Kim, whose eight-year labour-of-love comedy Sensitive Skin has finally made it to the small screen on HBO Canada, plays ex-model Davina â?? a role taken in the BBC original by Joanna Lumley.

Itâ??s already had great reviews, with fans bingeing on demand, and its star looks stunning as always, although apparently that owes more to Kim herself than any big behind-the-scenes budget.

She isnâ??t just the lead, but an exec producer on the series, and she mostly wore her own clothes and jewellery for it too, preferring age-appropriate looks for her fiftysomething character.

â??Her delusions are in her head, not in her hemline,â?* smiles Kim.

Not only that, but she deployed a rather hands-on bonding technique amongst cast members … a no-holdsbarred volleyball match!

The ardent Reds fan â?? remember last seasonâ??s lucky slippers? â?? took no prisoners even in a friendly sporting contest.

Her co-star and friend, Canadian actor Don McKellar, reveals that she brought a net and volleyball to rehearsals as a bit of a quirky ice-breaker.

â??We thought, â??Oh, this is a fun little bonding gameâ??,â?* he recalls. â??It turned out to be vicious.â?*
