WATCH: X Factor hopeful Maria Ellinas from Liverpool has judges in hysterics at her a

</p> Scouse girl Maria Ellinas will take to our screens this weekend in a bid to win over the X Factor judges and earn herself a place on the show.

But in a preview of the show, the model ended up telling Simon Cowell: “‘I’m going to kill you!” after he corrected her pronunciation of the word ‘street’.

The single mum enters the audition room full of hope and initially, Simon Cowell is very impressed that her information said if that she would have a number one song it would be of Randy Crawford’s “Street Life” saying: “I love that song”.

But the judge stopped her and told her that she pronounced the word street wrong, saying “It’s street, it’s not shtreet…There’s no H”.

The X Factor hopeful corrects herself and attempts to sing the song again, but not before the three other judges; Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B and Louis Walsh burst into laughter.

After several tries, Maria gives in saying “I can’t do that song now, I’m going to kill you!”

To which Simon replies: “Do you know shtop?”.
