Royal Mail stamps feature comedy greats ? but where?s Doddy?

What a great idea! But where is the stamp of the Squire of Knotty Ash?

Ken Dodd may have celebrated a remarkable 60 years as a professional performer, but heâ??s been left out of the collection of comedians.

Itâ??s something weâ??re sure will outrage Doddyâ??s fans all around the country.

How a Ken Dodd stamp could look
The comedy legend, 87, is missing from the set which features British comedy greats from the 1950s to the modern day.

Photographs of the Two Ronnies, Norman Wisdom, Lenny Henry and female duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders are among those on the 10 first class stamps.

A list of potential subjects was submitted to Royal Mailâ??s Stamp Advisory Executive, before the set of ten went to the Queen for final approval.
