</p>WAG Coleen Rooney today gave a final push to find the â??football mumâ?? of the year.

The wife of former Everton striker Wayne Rooney, and mum to Kai and Klay, is the ambassador for the award.

Sponsored by McDonaldâ??s, the award will recognise mums who dedicate hours of hard work so their children and friends can enjoy the game.

Coleen, 29, said: â??Do you know a mum who goes above and beyond so their kids can enjoy playing football?

â??Then nominate them for the McDonaldâ??s Football Mum of the year award, nominations close this Friday!â?*

She previously told of her excitement about the award, adding: â??I live in a football-mad house and know how much goes into just getting the kids to training and making the time to watch them play every week, so I can only imagine the amazing nominations weâ??re going to receive for this.â?*

Croxteth-born Coleen said: â??Dads tend to get the credit a lot of the time for coaching teams, or teaching their kids how to play, so this award will give people a chance to shout about the hard work mums do on and off the pitch.

â??Wayne does a brilliant job teaching the kids to play football, however heâ??s not always at home, so itâ??s a great way for me to bond with them as well. I love having a kick about with the boys in the garden. I think I do a pretty good job!â?*

Coleen will host McDonalds’ Football Mum of the year Awards
The McDonaldâ??s Football Mum of the year Award is currently looking for some soccer-mad mums to be nominated by their family and friends.

Nominees may have started a team or help run their childâ??s local team, spend hours running their children to training and matches or managing the team kits.

The winner will be presented with their prize at a special ceremony at Wembley Stadium on August 2, hosted by Coleen.
