Gillian Kearney swaps the Emmerdale set for Knowsley spa
</p>Gillian Kearney looks refreshed as she swaps the Emmerdale set for a Knowsley spa. The Liverpool actress, who plays Emma Barton in the ITV soap, was pictured visiting The Spa at Suites Hotel with celebrity stylist pal Lorraine McCulloch. Mum-of-one Gillian says she needed a â??refreshing boostâ?* and she certainly got glowing skin worthy of the red carpet after her Decleor facial. The former Brookside and Casualty star enjoyed some much-needed â??me timeâ?? in the thermal suite before a relaxing Ultimate Vitamin Glow Facial. Gillian, 42, tells us: â??As an actress you can spend a lot of time in make-up and depending on when you are shooting a scene you could be in full make-up from very early morning until late at night.” </p>  Gillian as Emma Barton (Image: ITV) She adds: â??It is nice to give my skin a refreshing treatment.â?* Meanwhile, Lorraine had a relaxing Decleor eye treatment, and of course a nice catch up with Gillian. She says: “We’ve been friends for many years now and I recently worked with her at Emmerdale so it was really good to just chill and catch up. “We also made use of the relaxation suite, and we had lunch.” Sounds like bliss ladies!
