Big-hearted Heidi Range unleashes her inner superhero for Children In Need

</p> Sugababes star Heidi Range may be busy planning her dream wedding – but sheâ??s also been a busy girl of late by doing her bit for charity.

The Aintree singer helped create comic book covers to celebrate the launch of â??Be a Heroâ?? badges for Children in Need.

She delved into the dressing up box to take part in a fun photo shoot as the Post Office aim for their biggest year of fundraising ever.

Heidi, 32, joked: â??Iâ??m no stranger to dressing up for BBC Children in Need.

â??In 2011 I went Abba-style for Pop Goes the Musical, but today I really felt like a superhero! Itâ??s all for a brilliant cause, so hopefully it will encourage others to grab their own badge at the Post Office and be a hero for BBC Children in Need.

Two bespoke designs of the â??Be A Heroâ?? badge are now on sale at Post Office branches, priced at آ£1 each, and online.

BBC Children in Need currently supports more than 38 projects in and around Liverpool, to the value of more than آ£1.8 million.

Heidi also got behind Asdaâ??s Tickled Pink campaign to help raise cash for Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now.

She was one of five celebrities who dressed as characters from fairytales, and also modelled this yearâ??s limited edition George T-shirt.

The former Dancing On Ice star was joined by Strictly Come Dancingâ??s Ola Jordan, presenter Rylan Clark, singer Jake Quickenden and Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.

For Tickled Pink, Heidi posed with actresses Kara Tointon and Brooke Vincent, model and entrepreneur Jo Wood and TV presenter Charlotte Jackson.

Heidi said: â??I am so excited to be involved in Asdaâ??s Tickled Pink campaign this year and help raise awareness of such an important cause.”

She added: “Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now make a huge difference to those affected by breast cancer every day, so I would really encourage people to take some time this Breast Cancer Awareness month to recognise and support the vital work they do.â?*

Heidi’s friend, presenter Kate Thornton, yesterday posted a photograph of the pals together at this year’s WellChild Awards.

The singer replied: “Such an inspiring evening at @WellChild awards x”
