No Time to Die?s theme song has been released, and James Bond fans can listen right n

Sometimes, the anticipation for a new James Bond theme song is greater than it is for the film itself.

For the franchise’s 25th outing, the filmmakers have called in 2019’s biggest breakout music star and Grammy Awards sweeper Billie Eilish, and the wait for her take on the iconic Bond song is now over.

The 18-year-old Eilish definitely made history with ‘No Time to Die’, and not only because she is the youngest artist to ever write and perform a title theme for the James Bond franchise.

Eilish also collaborated with her brother-producer Finneas O’Connell on the track under extremely unique circumstances â?? they recorded the track in her bedroom studio! You can download the track by clicking here.

On the Grammy Awards red carpet back in January, Finneas confirmed to Billboard that the writing of the song was also done “on the road” while they were on their ‘Where Do We Go? World Tour’.

“All I will say is that I think the movie’s incredible, and I’m so excited for people to hear the song that we made,” he added.

The movie will see 007 (Daniel Craig) being called to MI6 and re-partnering with his old CIA contact Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) to track down a scientist kidnapped by the terrorist Safin (Rami Malek).

There has been renewed speculation this week that ‘Safin’ could actually be a cover for the villain’s true identity as classic Bond baddie Dr. No.

“I mean, isn’t that an exciting thing to consider all the way up to the release,” Malek himself admitted when asked about the rumour, adding: “There is a resurgence of an Ian Fleming influence on this film.”

No Time to Die, the 25th James Bond movie, has a UK release date of April 2, 2020, and opens in the US on April 10, 2020. All the previous Bond movies are available on DVD or Blu-ray.
