​You Can Own A Grown-Up Version Of Iconic Little Tikes Kids’ Car
I’m sure you all remember the truly Iconic red and yellow Little Tikes cars of your youth – I do, mostly because I was never allowed one, so instead I had to watch out of my bedroom window, wistfully gazing out at the one chilling on my neighbour’s lawn. Not that I’m still bitter about it or anything. Well, there’s great news for anyone (including poor, deprived four-year-old me), as you can now buy yourself a Grown-Up replica. The road-legal replica of Little Tikes Cozy Coupe is currently up for grabs on Auto Trader, and could be yours for آ£3,500 (or آ£74 a month on finance).  Credit: Auto Trader She’s a beaut, isn’t she?The coveted toddler ride, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019, has been lovingly recreated using a 2011 Smart ForTwo, which has been well and truly pimped so that it resembles the childhood favourite – to scale, nonetheless. Complete with the famous red and yellow bodywork, the vehicle also features Little Tikes logos, giant googly eyes on the windscreen, and even boasts a custom licence plate reading ‘L2 TYKE’, meaning it now looks like the flyest whip out there. The one-of-a-kind car is being sold for just آ£587 more than a non-modified (i.e. boring) Smart ForTwo with low mileage, according to Auto Trader’s newly launched Price Indicator tool.  Credit: Auto Trader Along with the various nods to the classic Little Tikes model, the car also has a road legal Version of the ‘fuss-free transmission that Little Tikes Oupes are known for’, thanks to an Automatic 0.8L Diesel engine.The car had three previous owners before it was painstakingly modified by a dealership in Bagstone, Gloucestershire, and has a relatively low mileage with just 49,000 miles on the clock.
