ISLAMABAD: After receiving tax returns of 1.9 million with paid up tax amount of Rs15.5 billion so far, the FBR has decided to grant another extension into the deadline of filing of income tax returns up to December 31, 2019. One top official of FBR on Monday night confirmed to The News that the date of filing of income tax returns extended to December 31, 2019. Till the last date of filing of income tax returns on December 16, 2019, the FBR received 1.9 million returns so far. The paid up tax amount along with 1.9 million returns fetched Rs15.5 billion tax amount into the national kitty.
