Fiberglass Rebar is a fairly new development in the engineering scene but, honestly speaking, is a new product or raw material. It has been around for the last thirty odd years but still has much ground to cover in market-shares. One wonders why this lack of interest has overshadowed such an instrumental go-to-material for infrastructures. Is it the monopoly of steel that made the growth of Fiberglass stunt or was it due to poor campaigning which rooted in the ground, failing to achieve recognition for its abundantly positive properties? One thing is certain that future of GFRP Rebar is bright as more and more modern development needs are being cater with a material that minimizes the carbon footprint as compared to steel.
