Islamabad/Karachi: Pakistan has received .1 billion from China, Finance Ministry spokesperson Dr Khaqan Najeeb and State Bank of Pakistan has confirmed.Dr Najeeb took to Twitter saying, “Deposit of RMB 15Bn equivalent to $2.1Bn received in State Bank of Pakistan account on Mar 25th 2019 from China. Successful Government of Pakistan multipronged strategy to ensure stability in #BOP including curtailing C/A, improving remittances and ensuring adequate FX financing. Forex reserves increase to comfortable level.”Later, State Bank of Pakistan formed in a statement saying “State Bank of Pakistan has received RMB 15 billion value today equivalent to $2.2 billion as proceeds of the loan obtained by Government of Pakistan from China.”
