ISLAMABAD: Famed Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has received Tamgha-e-Imtiaz on Pakistan Day today for her outstanding performance.President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi conferred Mehwish Hayat with the award during a ceremony in Islamabad.The 36-year-old Load Wedding artist had recently been receiving a lot of backlash by people who were criticising her for not having done enough to be receiving Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.However, greeting started pouring in after she received the award.Ahead of the highly-anticipated ceremony of Pakistan Civil Awards, famed Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat in a recent picture come forth shutting up trolls, as she landed at Islamabad airport unfazed by all the staunch criticism, on Friday. Thanking Allah for this blessing, Mehwish wrote: "Landed in isloo.. living my dream. Thank you Allah mian!!!
