KARACHI: The Rangers on Sunday claimed to have arrested five suspects during raids in various parts of the city.According to a spokesperson for the paramilitary force, a suspect, Faisal Haroon Khan, was arrested during a raid conducted in the Shah Faisal Colony area. The spokesperson said the suspect was involved in various cases of extortion.In another raid in the AlFalah area, the Rangers arrested two suspects identified as Abdul Latif and Javed who were allegedly involved in various cases of street crime.Two more suspects, Amir Afsar, alias Lal, and Adil Baloch Badal, were apprehended during a raid conducted in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, the spokesperson said, adding that they were involved in various cases of robberies.The paramilitary force also claimed to have seized arms and ammunition from the suspects’ possession. They were later handed over to the police for the initiation of legal proceedings.
