Eye Tracking for Games Has a Name: Steel****** Sentry
To the top video-game players on the planet, fates are decided in hundredths of a second. Faster reaction time can mean the difference between finishing a level in record time, or ending up as someone's fragged lunch.
The Steel****** Sentry, an**unced Monday at E3, introduces players to a new way to improve their game: eye tracking. The product is a ruler-shaped sensor that connects to a PC's USB port, and tracks a user's eye movements. For gamers, this means they can analyze what they're looking at on the screen, for how long, and how often their gaze changes.
