Although talking about sex with your daughters - masturbation, in particular - can seem taboo at first, a lot of insight can come out of an honest conversation. In her Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk, Jada Pinkett Smith decided to speak openly About it With her 17-year-old daughter, Willow, and her best friend Telana Lynum. Her own mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris, was also right by her side.

They hit on everything from what it was like to lose their virginities to the importance of women having orgasms to using sex toys and frankly, their banter is empowering.

"I think by your age, I gave myself multiples first," explained Jada. "Multiple orgasms. I was really into it at one point. Just because I was in an exploration state and I was abstaining from men."

Jada said that it was actually her grandmother who introduced her to the art of Masturbation at a young age - because you shouldn't have to rely on a man for such things.

"She didn't want me to fall into the hands of a man, and if he gave me pleasure, to think that that was him."

"My grandmother taught me About self-pleasuring because she wanted me to know that that pleasure was from me," she said. "She didn't want me to fall into the hands of a man, and if he gave me pleasure, to think that that was him. And she taught me at 9!"

Adrienne Banfield Norris spoke About how she used to feel ashamed About having sex because women are often taught they shouldn't enjoy it at all.

"The demons in the back of my mind are telling me, 'No, you shouldn't be doing that,' and 'No, good girls don't enjoy sex' . . . over time you realize, 'hey,'" she said.
