Hi got an Equi Trek Show Treka L for my big 17.1h beastie in November, and we're trailering around again! he loads wonderfully, but paws constantly in the trailer if he's alone.I have tried giving him more room, less room, more hay or feed, more ventilation, and just trying to get him out and about weekly to overcome this, but no luck yet.I am however worried that the tack locker in front of him is taking a beating. I immediately thought to have rubber matting installed there, but that's going to cost hundreds apparently, and one Equi-Trek dealer said the box is pretty sturdy so I shouldn't worry?What's your take?
