Got a WOW saddle on loan for 2 weeks to try - within 24 hours the mare had an ouchy leg. Physio was out and said back right and to get vet. Trotted her up this morning and vet reckons front right. Turned horse out and she trotted across field looking 100% *sigh* obviously she heard about the new saddle and rightly clocked that meant she might have to do some work! We've been having on / off lameness for months and rather than inject her hocks (arthritic per x-rays) the vet would prefer to start all over again by having her in and putting the lameness locator on. I did ask them about a bone scan, but she wasn't keen. Investigation work likely to be at my cost. How have people found the lameness locator? Does it get the vets to the right area pretty quickly?
