My ancient trailer has been serviced and has nothing majorly wrong with it, phew! It does however need new Brake pads and shoes, which is the very least I expected due to the age and state I bought it in. Anyway, the mechanic doesnt supply them but will come back and fit them once I have them. Its a Bahill so I need to find generic replacements and to do that I need to know the measurements.How on earth do I measure that? The mechanic said something about Brake shoes being 7.5" and pads being 6" but according to the Brake manufacturer that cant be right. I've messaged him to double check, but in the mean time if I can work out what and how to measure I can just do it myself. Google has been no help at all!
