Just another worry among all the others Im having at the moment. The past few days Ive noticed the post and rail between my paddock and next door has some serious chewing marks. My horse been in the field for 5 years and never noticed before, could possibly be the pony friend who has been here for 6 months now. Next doors horses not been seen to chew either! If it is my old lad Im concerned it may be due to the bute he is on long term, could it be ulcers? He has no other symptoms of ulcers. They have plenty of grass, rather too much. What could make a horse start fence chewing for the first time ?
