I have a just turned 3 year old British warmblood mare and I'm really struggling with her feet. She has had poor feet since she arrived last August they are constantly chipped and have big splits you can see all the dead laminae We put her on to a simple systems balancer, Lucie stalks and equinox hoof supplement November time as thought maybe altering her diet would help, but they are getting worse. I have a very good farrier recommend by my vet he comes out every 3 weeks to try and keep the splits under control. She also has a slightly inturned foot I know this can't be corrected now but my farrier is trying to help this with correct trimming. The last 2 or 3 trims she has had she has been foot sore after for a few days but the most recent trim has made her really sore, I've had to put her on danilon this was over 10 days ago. Having the vet out this week to X-ray just to check their is nothing else going on, just wondered if anyone has experienced anything similar? Thanks
