JEDDAH - Dallah Hospital launched an awareness program Wednesday that aims to combat diabetes. The campaign aims to raise awareness of prevention methods of Diabetes and providing tips and guidance for diabetics in order to help them better manage their condition. The campaign will also reach out to community members with the aim of educating them on diabetes, which has become a major eco**mic, social and health problem with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates having the most number of diabetics worldwide. Dr. Ahmad Kharboutli, endocri**logist at Dallah Hospital, said: "The importance of the campaign stems from the reality of the risks posed by Diabetes that is expanding globally.
