Beats Drops Subscription Price, Offers Longer Free Trial
   Beats Music has just lowered the price of subscriptions and extended the Free Trial period for subscribers to its app. The price change was part of an update to the company's iOS and Android app — one that dropped just hours after Apple confirmed it was acquiring Beats for $3 billion It isn't clear if the company meant to time the update with the an**uncement, but the price drop seems certain to appeal to potential customers who are curious about the app in the wake of the news.
