Intra-institutional tensions can?t be overlooked, says Fazl
ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said the tension among the state institutions could not be repressed anymore.
He also expressed dismay at the repeated appearance of Nawaz Sharif in the courts within a week. He assured Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi of JUI-F?s support to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the Senate elections. Maulana Fazlur Rehman had a meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in PM chamber at the Parliament House on Friday. Both the leaders exchanged views on the overall political situation in the country. Fazlur Rehman congratulated the prime minister on winning the Senate seat in the Punjab by PML-N?s Dr Asad Ashraf. The seat vacated by Nihal Hashmi following his disqualification in the contempt of court suo moto case.
