JEDDAH - Members of several Filipi** organizations in Jeddah united last weekend to help John Paul Genesis Pensinabis, a 14-year-old teenager who was electrocuted by a hanging power line in his native province of Bulacan in the Philippines. During the fundraising event held at La-Parilla restaurant in Jeddah, Astig Filcom Chairman Mar Par Jr. said the photos of Pensinabis circulated through social networking websites showing the young boy with both legs and right arm amputated touched the hearts of fellow Filipi**s. Par thanked all members of the Filipi** community for the support extended to Pensinabis and to world class Filipi** fashion designer Cris Gentica and well-k**wn interior designer Pablo Nesperos Jr. for sponsoring the events' logistics material and other Filcom groups such as the TSFJ and FAME for their contribution to the program with the coordination of Spectrum Vice President Melvin Alejo. A total of $1,200 was raised from various organizations in Jeddah.
