Looking for suggestions my Horse will only poo in his field, stable or horsebox. He won't poo on hacks, in an arena or anywhere else. The problem is that we often go to competitons/schooling and more often he is just feeling like he needs to go and not moving forward properly, he feels tight in the back and the tail goes up like he wants to poo but nothing happens. This isn't consistent though, on other days he is working well and feels comfortable. He has been checked by an acpat physio, thermoscan and a good bodyworker/behavioural person. No signs of ulcers and he is a very chilled out and not at all stressy. I am about to contact the vet but I don't think it's physical but I don't know what else to do. His poos are normally a healthy volume and consistency. After he has felt like this though, once back on the box he will normally have a squitty one. I was trying to manage by making sure he had time on the box but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment Has anyone else came across this?
