KARACHI: The Senate Chairman, Mian Raza Rabbani, has said the PPP leadership did not play any role in dislodging the PML-N led provincial government in Balochistan.
The Senate chairman was talking to newsmen here on Wednesday after submitting his nomination papers as a candidate for the upcoming Senate elections. He said a no-confidence motion was moved in the Balochistan Assembly against the former chief minister, which is a democratic process.The chairman said efforts would be made to further strengthen the Senate. He said the Senate maintains a check over the working executive. ?Parliament is the only institution which could bring all other institutions together.? Rabbani said every institution should work within the limitations set by the Constitution.
