Russia's state-owned Gazprom said that unless Kiev pre-paid for the next month's natural gas deliveries by June 2, it would disrupt or reduce supplies. Saudi Arabia said it would step in to cover any potential shortage of oil that could result from the tension between Russia and Ukraine, which reassured investors and capped gains in oil.
