افتراضي Back end dropping away

HiHas anyone any experience of this, my mare is 21 this year - I have owned her since she was 4, she has some arthritis in her front legs, then over the past couple of weeks when I mount her Back legs almost give way for a couple of seconds, she does a few strides and she sorts herself out and then she is fine. Over the last week though it has got progressively worse with her taking a bit longer to sort herself out and I haven't ridden her since last Thursday. I have booked her into the vets tomorrow and taking her tack so he can see what happens. She is a very lively and lovely ride still at her age and I am so worried retirement is imminent as she loves her hacking (which is all I do with her). She has Micronised Linseed and also Feedmark Activet which I started on her a couple of weeks ago and one sachet of bute a day for the arthritis in the front legs, which again she only started a few weeks ago when she had 2/10 lameness in her front leg which vet believes to be arthritis. She is not insured for vets fees so can't really be spending a fortune on scans etc.Helen
