You might think that Elon Musk is a bit of a joker, but in hindsight, basically every joke he'd uttered became a real project. First he joked about Boring a tunnel to escape Los Angeles' hideous traffic jams, and the Boring Company was born. Then he said he's going to send a Tesla car to Mars, and it appears that he's actually going to go through with it.*
