My mare goes in an eggbutt single jointed bit at the moment, this is what she was in when I bought her and it's stuck so far. She works nicely in it BUT when we're not jumping she sticks her tongue out to the side. I'm debating trying a snaffle with a lot port to see if it helps her out. Has anyone had any luck with this? http://www.thehorsebitshop.co.uk/product.php?xProd=87 I've had one of my teachers suggest a grackle instead of trying a different bit but I'm not sure how much that will change. At the moment she's in a caveson with the flash on.
