Timothée Chalamet donates salary from Woody Allen film, explains why on Instagram

Timothée Chalamet, the fast-rising actor and recent star of Call Me By Your Name, has donated his salary from the upcoming Woody Allen film A Rainy Day in New York to charity.

Chalamet has said he'll be giving the salary to the Time's Up campaign, the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), and New York's LGBT Center.

He took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to explain his decision:

Woody Allen has previously been accused of sexual abuse by his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow, who wrote an open letter in The New York Times in 2014 giving a detailed account of events she says took place when she was seven years old.
