VILNIUS: A Lithuanian lawmaker accused of sexual harassment resigned on Friday, hours before the parliament was due to vote on removing him for breaching the constitution. Kestutis Pukas, a 65-year-old opposition MP who also owns several television and radio stations, has repeatedly denied that he behaved improperly towards young women during job interviews. ?I submit my resignation and refuse my parliamentarian mandate because my rights were violated during the impeachment process,? Pukas told parliament.
