Our horse really picks her knees up when jumping but consequently we think she has knocked her elbow with the outside tip of her shoe when folding her feet up.She's developed a swelling of the bursar from the trauma and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience of this and how you got round it.We have a brilliant farrier so going to take advise from him re shoeing as she needs heel support and we don't want to compromise this.Did you use over reach boots, sausage boot ? Anything else helped ?She's a fantastic jumper and obviously can't be the only horse on the planet to have 'self harmed' in this manner. Tucking knees up is great but not ideal if she's going to catch herself at times.Many thanks
