افتراضي Ungrateful horses!

So I moved Billy yesterday as the dry winter field is just slosh and water lying on it. Thought better bring him up to his yard (attached to the summer field) so he at least has somewhere dry to stand and lie down. He does have this in the winter field but he doesn’t go into the shelter, instead preferring to stand under trees that he doesn’t quite fit under lol. So this is what he did as soon as I put him into yard, with nice big Haynet and nice new bed. It has a undercover area for him to stand under with a thick straw bed as well (meant for alpacas) and an underhang over stable door which he can stand under and watch everything from top of the hill. So what does he do?https://youtu.be/jTujnhI3Fx4Ungrateful sod. Field is so wet :oAnd then doing him last night and found this.Image: http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...sqlxivdot.jpeg I have absolutely NO idea how he managed to do this - these Mats have been down for at least 3 years and never lifted, he has a (building up) deep littered bed on top and still managed to do this?! Bizarre.Have you had a horse do this? He didn’t get cast, doesn’t look like he rolled or lay down.Have any of you been good to your horse and he’s been totally ungrateful?
