LAHORE: Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Prof Hafiz Saeed Ahmad has sent a legal notice to Defence Minister Khurram Dastagir, through his lawyer AK Dogar, for issuing a ?controversial statement? against his party. The notice said the minister should Submit a written apology in 14 days for issuing a press statement that the current sanctions against the JuD are part of Raddul Fasaad operation. The minister has been warned to get ready for paying Rs100 million fine if he fails to Submit a written apology in 14 days. Lawyer AK Dogar held a press conference at his residence Friday night and told the media that the minister?s statement damaged the reputation of the JuD and its leadership.
