Took my horse showjumping training today and had a lovely time, was quiet as a mouse munching a haynet on the way home in the trailer, until about a mile from home when there was a lot of movement and banging. I stopped, looked in the jockey door and the Back partion in the trailer had fallen down and this/the hind breast bars were now under his hind feet. This has happened twice before, once when the trailer was empty and another time it happened as we left the yard with two horses in. I was since advised to swap the front and Back portion of the partitions around incase they had been put on incorrectly by the previous owners which I thought had sorted the problem. Has anyone else experienced this and any thoughts? I am not keen to travel without the Back partition incase the reason it falls down is because he needs it to stabilise/with two horses I am concerned about them standing on each other.It?s an Ifor Williams 510, around 13 years old. I have only owned this trailer a few months but my previous which I owned a short while (same make but a classic 510) I never had problems with. Hope this makes sense!
