Dhedhi?s bailable arrest warrant issued

KARACHI: Additional District and Sessions Judge South issued bailable arrest warrant for Aqeel Karim Dhedhi. The court started hearing a petition regarding spreading of false Propaganda against a private bank on Saturday. The court also issued notices to guarantor of Aqeel Karim Dhedhi who levelled false charges against the petitioner during a programme of a private news channel (ARY News).
The court adjourned the hearing into the case till January 13. According to the details, the court issued bailable arrest warrant for absent accused. The accused Assad Kharal, who is on bail, appeared in the court along with his counsel. While other accused, including Salman Mirza, Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Haji Ghani and Haji Usman did not appear before the court.The counsels for the accused filed petitions for exemption from their presence. The court admitted the bail petition of Salman Mirza while bailable arrest warrant for other accused were issued.
