LAHORE: German ambassador Martin Kobler declared Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif as a visionary leader during the groundbreaking of Punjab Gas Power Plant in Jhang.
Kobler said praised Shahbaz because the Punjab government under his leadership had taken effective measures for development, adding, ?The chief minister takes personal interest in the completion of projects.?He said the vision of Shahbaz, his capacity to work and his determination were praiseworthy, adding that the German companies should also benefit from the CPEC projects. He said, ?Today is a historic day for Pakistan, Punjab and Jhang, and this day also holds importance for Germany as well.? The German envoy also spoke a few word in Urdu and raise the slogan of ?Long Live Pakistan, Germany and China?.
